Project Description

There is a valley gutter and eaves gutter on the building, which required attention as both were leaking. Lotus Cladding was there to handle the retail gutter leak cladding solution in Sheffield.

Challenge

The eaves gutter had three brick columns interrupting the linear approach. Once again, there have been numerous attempts to rectify the issue, including applying water-resistant paint on the laps of the gutter trays and changing the fixings located near the gutter.

Solution

The valley gutter was straightforward. We installed a polygene gutter and opened the outlets at each end to improve water flow. The eaves gutter is needed. We needed to remove the brick columns. We did some research and discovered they weren’t structural. They were removed, and a polygene gutter was installed and welded.
