Project Description
The client wanted to revamp the entrance/car park and provide added security. In-situ is asbestos cement sheeting.
Challenge
We communicated daily with the client to ensure access was maintained, and the factory could still operate efficiently. We also faced the added issue of drilling into asbestos sheets.
Solution
We proposed applying paste and taping the asbestos sheets where we would be fixing the rails. This significantly reduced the risk of airborne particles becoming an issue. For the entrance, we conducted most of the work during twilight hours when footfall was minimal.
